Plant Manager

This position requires a hands on work initiative person with strong supervision and management skills.   Must have the ability to run an efficient environment, with OSHA experience being a plus.  Steel/Shop purchasing, along with outsourcing to multiple vendors on a daily/weekly basis is mandatory with this position.  

Looking for a plant manager who has hands-on experience and would be actively working on the floor with the team, rather than someone who has mainly desk-based experience or supervises from a distance.  We need someone who is on the shop floor around 70% of the time, actively engaging with workers who are building the equipment.  

There will be little to no travel involved, as the role is focused entirely on managing the manufacturing plant operations. This role is full-time and based at our plant, as we specialize in custom recycling equipment production. Purchasing experience a PLUS and MUST have blueprint/drawing reading knowledge.
