Job Title: Tool and Die Maker
Job Description
Since 1946, our full-service production CNC machine shop has crafted various metal parts for a diverse customer base, including agriculture, construction, off-road highway trucking, forestry, mining, and other industries around the world. We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to perform all duties associated with the role and other tasks as assigned. This is a non-supervisory position under the guidance of the Product Engineering/Toolmaking Manager.
Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble fixture and tooling components to achieve estimated rates.
Perform required maintenance of fixtures and tooling as needed or requested.
Sharpen cutting tools as needed or requested.
Perform rework on non-conforming parts.
Submit fixtures, tooling, or parts to inspection for verification.
Perform manual machining operations on job orders, including the manufacture of prototypes.
Set up and run CNC mills.
Proficiently set up and operate CNC machines.
Welding preferred but not necessary.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a 15% premium. There is a lot of overtime available, though it is not mandatory. Our shop is well-lit, though on the dirtier side, and we are currently very busy with work orders set through 2025.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
