Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to manage and coordinate trucking appointments, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain inventory control in our food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate trucking appointments.

  • Respond to incoming trucks.

  • Assign drivers to the correct bay door.

  • Organize work orders for the warehouse before each day based on scheduled appointments.

  • Confirm correct orders and pallets are in the assigned spot on the shipping dock.

  • Utilize the warehouse management system to enter data.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

  • Proficiency in scheduling appointments and coordinating shipments.

  • Ability to use a warehouse management system for data entry.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage work orders and appointments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
