Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift Leading company in the manufacturing technology industry is looking for a 1 st shift assembler in Westford, MA! This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay Rate of the Mechanical Assembler: $21/HR Hours of the Mechanical Assembler: M-F 7am - 3:30pm Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assemblers: Verify integrity of material to be assembled and report defects. Recognize and identify any non-conforming material and inform appropriate manufacturing personnel. Assemble and packout products following specific procedures. Responsible for inventory, equipment, data collection and housekeeping within work area. Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures. Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process. Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space. Ability to use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers) Requirements of the Mechanical Assemblers: High School diploma or equivalent education. Technical training a plus. 1 + years electro-mechanical assembly in the manufacturing industry. Ability to read assembly procedures and follow visual aids. Basic knowledge of manufacturing process. Ability to follow mechanical and electrical drawings. Basic mechanical assembly knowledge. Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids. Basic computer skills. Electrical wiring skills are a plus Good organizational skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment. Mechanical Assemblers apply today!
