MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 3rd Shift

Teamvantage, a Velosity Company is searching for a Maintenance Technician to perform some or all the maintenance tasks required to support the manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN. Typical duties include preventative machine maintenance, building/machine repair, and other duties as needed. This is an onsite position. Shift Hours: 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 12:00am - 8:00am) The typical pay range for this role: $24.81 - $37.21 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, internal equity and other relevant factors. Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a mold shop or manufacturing environment. Skills:Must be able to perform one or more of the following skills: Preventative Maintenance on CNC's, Troubleshoot/repair machines and auxiliary equipment, Facility maintenance, general fabrication, plumbing, electrical, plant layout, painting, forklift operation. Knowledge:Must be familiar with and able to use hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed above; some positions will be required to have an understanding of blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics. Abilities:Capable of performing daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to work comfortably in a team environment with employees and visitors. Essential Duties: Work cooperatively with all employees and outside suppliers. Responsible for completing assignments on time. Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the manufacturing floor and office areas. Detect and report questionable or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor. Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner in the shop with little or no supervision. Keep equipment clean and well maintained. Performs preventative maintenance on machinery, building and grounds as required. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Lead or Facilities Manager. Licensing/Registration/Certification: Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States. Work Conditions & Physical Demands: Velosity is a non-smoking, climate controlled, professional injection molding facility. The manufacturing environment may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in an injection molding facility. Walking and stair climbing is required within the facility. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good d pth perception. Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance.
