Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods always keeps its nose to the grindstone. The company stone grinds whole grains into bread mixes, cereals, natural and organic flour, and pancake and waffle mixes. Its 400-plus products are sold at grocery stores throughout the US and Canada; it also sells bulk mixes to large-scale food-manufacturing customers. The company operates a visitor's center, store, and bakery/cafe in Milwaukie, Oregon. Octogenarian founder Bob Moore and his wife, Charlee, established Bob's Red Mill in 1978; fulfilling Moore's original intent to share his success with his employees, it became employee-owned in 2010. No changes to the company's staff or operations were made.
