Since its humble beginnings as a “mom and pop” shop in 1949, IBT has had two very clear defining qualities; innovation and excellence in serving its customers. When Forrest L. Cloud and his wife Bonnie began IBT they were amongst some of the first to provide both Bearings and Power Transmission products in one, single-source warehouse. This single-source approach while a novelty at the time, was greatly impactful for their customers and their future.

Forrest L. Cloud and Bonnie were paying attention to what their customers wanted and needed. They knew if they provided the products their customers needed, the exceptional customer service they wanted, from experienced and knowledgable staff, that they had a recipe for mutual success!

While these humble beginnings have now grown beyond what Forest and Bonnie could have imagined, their values are still carried on through their grandson, Jeff Cloud, current President & CEO.

Jeff Cloud, third generation of Cloud leadership, is paving the next chapter for IBT. With personal experience working his way up through the business, Jeff Cloud has an intimate familiarity with each role and function of the business. With his devotion to exceptional customer experience, continuous innovation, and upholding the founding values of IBT, Jeff Cloud is leading IBT into the future.
