We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, with expertise in operating manual machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Pump repair knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities: • Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, saws and grinders. • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job. • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced. • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition. • Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain productivity. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Requirements: • Proven experience as a machinist, with a minimum of 5 years in precision machining. • Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment. • Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances. • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Certification or formal training in machining is preferred.
