Business Spotlight - Hire10

Next up in our Business Spotlight is Hire10, a national recruiting firm specializing in the construction industry. If you’ve ever heard the phrase, “Retained Search as a Service™” (RSaaS™), then you’ve probably also heard of this Orlando-based agency. New to the iHire family, Hire10 coined the term RSaaS™ to describe its one-of-a-kind, customer-centric business model.

We recently caught up with Hire10’s Ken Brown, Expert Construction Recruiter, to learn more about the company and its recruiting goals.

iHire: Hi, Ken! Thank you for participating in iHire’s Business Spotlight. Can you tell us more about your role and responsibilities at Hire10?

KB: I am a personal representative for construction-focused job seekers. I make sure my candidates have all the information they need to make a decision, fast. My goal is to place every candidate as quickly as possible.

iHire: Give us your best, 30-second elevator speech on Hire10.

KB: We’re a construction-exclusive recruiting firm conducting candidate search and placement services nationwide. We do not charge a commission. We work on a standard flat fee. We’re the only firm that will give you in-house pricing with agency “hustle.” In fact, our prescreen model is yielding us placement retention rates over 90% at two years of employment.

iHire: What should job seekers know about Hire10?

iHire: There is clearly a skill shortage in the construction market. How is this complicating your recruiting process?

KB: We can’t find enough qualified talent! We’re are aiming to utilize iHireConstruction’s industry-specific focus and member base to address this challenge.

iHire: Well, you’ve come to the right place. What would you consider the most desired attributes or skills for your ideal candidates?

KB: We want to work with candidates who are responsive, smart, hardworking, honest, personable, and sincere.

iHire: Any advice for other hiring managers or recruiters?

KB: Check your candidates’ references. It can make all the difference in making the right long-term hiring decision.
