QA Manager Jobs in Connecticut
A Quality Assurance (QA) Manager in the manufacturing industry is responsible for overseeing the quality of products and processes within the facility. This person will coordinate and supervise activities that ensure design, manufacturing, and testing processes meet the company's quality standards. They will establish procedures for quality control, lead internal audits of the quality systems, and ensure regulatory compliance. QA Managers are also involved in troubleshooting problems, implementing corrective actions, and training staff on new procedures and protocols. They are an integral part of the team, working closely with other departments to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
Important skills for a QA Manager include excellent communication and leadership abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a detailed understanding of quality control methods and regulations. As for certifications, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) are often preferred.
